Road to Stress Release Tip #52: Swim

Swimming is fun and releases stress immediately. As soon as you are in the water, it helps to loosen up the body and release tension from the mind. Swimming can also be like meditation as it includes a perfect rhythm, and requires concentration or focus as well as deep breaths.   Swimming increases your well-being and self-confidence by giving you a well-toned body.  The water contact improves your mood if you feel tired or stressed.
